HERA Eco Games

The game

‍

The”Eco Games” I am a group of three mini games carried out as part of a communication project and environmental awareness of the Hera Group. Through different game mechanics users interface with the recycling in a playful way. The three game mechanics include: an ambient memory, an ecological labyrinth and a waste drop.

This scenario of affirmation of environmental awareness is accompanied by the reference cities in which the Hera Group works: Bologna, Cesena, Ferrara, Modena, Padua, Pesaro and Urbino, Ravenna, Rimini and Trieste.

The Graphic layout is in pixel art with faithful 8-bit reproductions of the Hera Group's means of transport and work and of the most characteristic monuments of the cities.

Objectives

‍

The purpose of the project”Eco Games” is, first of all, the promotion of environmental education in a fun way and the training of users through a playful system, such as the recognition of the right basket for differentiation according to color. In addition, being one of the tools of the Hera Group's communication strategy, the”Eco Games” were used at support of a prize competition, launched together with the video game.

Integrated communication

The graphic layout of the project ”Eco Games” has gone off the web to also customize the other off-air communication tools such as the hardcovers present during events, dynamic billboards on Hera vehicles and the personalization of gadgets. The creative coordination of the project”Eco Games” was entrusted to the Dinobros team that took care of, in addition to the creativity and development of the videogame, also the social editorial plan dedicated to the project and the creativity of Off-air communication.
